with the encouragement of Ravi. How Ravi overcome the 'cinema kashtalu' and become a director forms rest of the story.
Highlights:
It's an unusual film from Puri Jagannath, portraying the life of wannabes& struggling filmi people.he tried to break the illusion of Filmi glitz& glamour. There are equal hits n
misses.
Raviteja performed well as a assistant director who doesn't give much importance to any thing but his dream.
Seiya looks ok.
Music by Chakri is passable.
Venu Madhav's charecterisation and his performance are very good.Brahmanandam has his share of laughs.
Sidelights:
Puri Jagannadh attacked on the issues whatever bothered him as a film person.there are hard hitting facts&some messages. This might sound good for movie buffs& enthusiasts, but won't appeal to general audience who drop in expecting a regular dose of entertainment from Puri Jagannadh.Even the facts are told in a very raw way rather than his usual way of sugar coating them.
Tthe director stuffed the movie with whatever he want to say about film industry, fans & media .so he doesn't cared much about the screenplay structure or pace.
Etc..,Etc.,
Biggest applause came in the theatre when the Producer(Shayaji Shinde) attacked web reviews& people who follow them."See our posters, listen our songs, watch our trailers and decide whether you should watch the movie or not,but not based on reviews. They take money from us and distributors, they distribute movies. How can you enjoy a movie after reading entire story in the reviews?"
Puri gave an equal dose of message to fans who crave for records,he attacked Websites&Swati (named as Mutyam in the film)magazine for spreading gossips. But still a lot left to reveal.
Public Talk: Parledhu..Ok
Industry Talk:Good effort by Puri but may not be promising at Box Office.
