Baladoor
Story:
Ramakrishna(Krishna) is the head of a joint family.Chanti(Raviteja)is the only son of his brother(Chandramohan).Ramakrishna &Chanti are very much fond of each other.Ramakrishna family runs a construction company named RK Builders.Umapathi (Pradeep Rawat) family is his archrival not only in business but also has a personal grudge on Ramakrishna.Umapathi always try to trouble Ramakrishna's family but fails to do so because of Chanti & the unity of the family.Due to some unavoidable circumstances Chanti is ousted from the house and thus Umapathi gets an edge in the feud.How Chanti protects his Family staying away from home forms rest of the story.
Highlights:
Raviteja is good as a responsible Baladoor.But the script isn't adequate to utilise his capabilities fully.
This is pure formula ( may be some 55 % sentiment + 20 % action + 10% comedy + 10% glamour + 5 % Love !? ) based film some what similar to Suresh Productions films in the early 90's.
Superstar Krishna has done a different charecter as a soft-natured uncle. (with a small punch of his original daring dashing heroism in the climax)
Anushka served the purpose of a glam doll.
Raviteja,Sunil,Brahmanandam spills few laughs.
The film finished in 2hrs 30mins.
Sidelights:
Story & screenplay(Uday Shankar) are just routine and nothing special to offer in that front.The second half is a bit slow.
Music ( KM Radhakrishnan)is old fashioned.
Public Talk : It's good if you love family dramas or else a passable one at your leisure.
Industry Talk : Targeted at family crowds & masses.chances to be successful at boxoffice.
